Melbourne Cup Mystery Quilt - Champagne Luncheon - 3rd November

  • Patchwork By Sea Melbourne Cup Mystery Quilt

Following on from last years successful Jelly Roll Mystery, we will again be teaching a mystery quilt. This year however Rachelle will be teaching two different quilts, either a Jelly Roll or a Layer Cake. The Layer Cake is an easier quilt, while the Jelly Roll is for the more confident quilter.

This year we have a change of venue, and will now be held at the Brighton Masonic Centre, 1 Commercial Rd Brighton, right next door to the Windsor Theatre, just on the other side of the railway crossing from us. The centre is bigger, brighter and is also air conditioned for a bit more comfort. The champagne luncheon will also be held at the venue (please bring your own specialty dietary needs). There will be sweep stakes and also a lucky door prize on the day. For the cost of $120 you will receive a $60 voucher to use in the shop, towards your choice of Jelly Roll, Layer Cake or fabric requirements needed to complete your quilt.

There will be sweep stakes and also a lucky door prize on the day.

A great day of festivities is planned for everyone. Did you attend last years Mystery? Why not bring your quilt with you for show & tell (even if it’s just the top). Everyone that brings their quilt along will receive a small gift.
